These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Paving etc Ltd website and the purchase of goods from us.

By placing an order with Paving etc Ltd you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

2. The Contract Between Us

2.1 A legally binding contract between you and Paving etc Ltd is formed when we dispatch the goods to you.

2.2 All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by us.

2.3 We must receive full payment for the goods before they are dispatched unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.4 If we assist in placing an order on your behalf, it is your responsibility to check that all information on the order confirmation is correct.

2.5 By placing an order through our website, by telephone, or by asking us to place an order on your behalf, you confirm that you accept these Terms & Conditions.

2.6 You are responsible for ensuring any planning permissions, access permissions or local authority permissions required for delivery or installation of goods are obtained before ordering.

3. Prices and Payment

3.1 All prices on our website are shown in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

3.2 Prices are based on the purchase of full packs only unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Delivery is included in the advertised price for standard delivery to most mainland UK locations unless otherwise specified.

3.4 Prices may change without notice but will not affect orders already accepted.

3.5 Payments may be processed through approved payment providers including Dojo and Klarna. By selecting these payment methods you agree to the terms and conditions of those providers.

3.6 Any refunds relating to payments made via Klarna or Dojo will be processed through the same payment provider.

4. Delivery Options

We offer the following delivery options:

Standard Delivery – FREE
Delivery within 3–5 working days

Express Delivery – £50
Delivery within 1–2 working days

To qualify for Express Delivery, orders must be placed before 11:00am on the previous working day (Monday–Friday).

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control including courier delays, traffic, supplier delays or weather conditions.

5. Delivery of Goods

5.1 Goods will be delivered to the delivery address provided when the order is placed.

5.2 Deliveries are normally made using pallet distribution networks and are kerbside delivery only using tail-lift vehicles and pallet trucks.

5.3 It is the customer's responsibility to ensure there is suitable access for delivery vehicles and a safe area for unloading.

5.4 If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access, absence of the customer, or incorrect delivery information, additional redelivery charges may apply.

5.5 Goods remain at the customer's risk from the time of delivery.

5.6 We strongly recommend that customers do not book landscapers, installers or other tradespeople until goods have been delivered and inspected.

5.7 Paving etc Ltd will not be liable for labour costs, contractor fees, project delays or any consequential losses arising from delivery delays, damaged goods, courier delays or any circumstances outside our control.

6. Inspection of Goods and Delivery Claims

6.1 All goods must be unpacked and inspected within 72 hours of delivery.

6.2 Any visible damage, shortages or issues with the delivery must be reported within 72 hours by emailing sales@pavingetc.co.uk, including photographs where possible.

6.3 Customers should retain all packaging until goods have been inspected.

6.4 This requirement allows us to investigate with the carrier and resolve any issues promptly.

6.5 This process does not affect your statutory rights regarding faulty or defective goods.

7. Installation and Product Use

7.1 All products must be checked prior to installation or laying.

7.2 Any visible defects must be reported before the product is installed.

7.3 Once goods have been installed, laid, or otherwise used, they are considered accepted and we cannot accept responsibility for removal, relaying, or associated labour costs.

7.4 Natural stone products may vary in colour, texture, thickness and appearance due to the nature of the material.

7.5 Photographs and samples are provided as guidance only and colour variation between batches may occur.

8. Consumer Cancellation Rights

8.1 If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

8.2 To exercise your right to cancel you must notify us in writing by email at sales@pavingetc.co.uk.

8.3 If goods have already been delivered, they must be returned within 14 days of cancellation.

8.4 Returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging where possible, and suitable for resale.

8.5 The customer is responsible for the cost of returning goods unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.

8.6 We may arrange collection of goods and deduct the collection cost from any refund issued.

8.7 The right to cancel does not apply to bespoke, special order or imported goods specifically ordered for the customer.

9. Refunds

9.1 Refunds will be processed once goods have been returned and inspected.

9.2 Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

9.3 Refunds may be reduced if goods show signs of use, damage or handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them.

10. Liability

10.1 Our liability for any claim relating to goods supplied shall be limited to the value of the goods purchased.

10.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses including labour costs, installation costs, project delays, or loss of earnings.

10.3 Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Data Protection

Paving etc Ltd processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of ordering will apply to your purchase.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
